saving pictures/ screenshots (bitmaps and jpegs) in database

hi all
i have a question,
im working with a ms access 2003 database and vba
what i need to do is to save pictures / screenshots (bitmaps and jpegs) in the database
first i would need to save these to a array though (because application specific) and then save them into a database
does somebody know how i can save them in a array and database?

You don't want to save images in an access database. Save a link to the image path. The database will grow out of control otherwise.

in this case it is needed to save the pictures
if the database gets to big the user has the possibility to create an archive from this database and start with a fresh one
