What is the most effecient way to do this? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to store attachments?
Where are attachments stored on PCs?
We have Outlook 2000 and wish to save to projects folders on the LAN pref. as a batch process

Unless you purposely save the attachment to a location on your system attachments are not automatically saved to any location. They do get placed in your temp directory (unless you specify a different directory in the registry) when you open them but you should still either use the FILE - SAVE ATTACHMENT option from Outlook or SAVE the file in the program it is opened in to a specific directory location. joegz

Thank-you! Any ideas on the best way to save messages particularly a heap of them? Can save them, then the subject becomes the project name, and if there is a thread they may all be the same- therefore have to plough through the error messages and change the names.
