I am required to save stored messages from employees that have left or have been terminated. So far, I am not deleting the voice mailbox and simply save messages on the voice mailbox extension and wanted to know if there is a way to store those messages to a .wav file or external device so that I may delete the box entirely?

Yes just use the Web Client to save them as a wave file or use the outlook plug-in to do the same.

Or you can install EVM to send the messages to an email address as a .WAV or .MP3 file

Thank you Ken for the information. I am new to this company and they have not purchased the Outlook option for Modular Messaging - older version 1.3, I believe. Can you please provide more info on the EVM (what is that?) option?

The outlook plug in is not an option it just comes with the system. What version MM do you have? If it is 1.3 then you must be using exchange as the message store. And if that was the case you would not need anything to save the messages with as it would be in the in-box of outlook.

Thank you again Ken - I will check with our Outlook folks and go from there.

They will not know anything about it. find out what version of MM you have and what you are using as a message store and let me know. I can then point you to where the plug-in or the web client software can be downloaded.

Do you use a BP or Avaya for support?

I have a BP and the MM version is 1.3-12 service pack 6
