I am having problems saving a large photoshop file (63 Layers, 7000X10000, over 300MB) into JPEG format. Everytime I try to save it, Photoshop goes through the process of saving, creates the jpeg file but it has a size of 17.6MB and is corrupted. I had the problem with another image (same size) and managed to save to jpeg after flattening the image, but it doesn't seem to be working for this one.
Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried different compression levels? Also, how about saving as TIFF first and then as jpeg perhaps. No idea why it should be any different, but anythings worth a go.

Another thought, have you tried purging everything just prior to your final save, to help your system out memory wise.

Regards
