1, First the PSD format - If I add more layers or images to the current PSD file, will the image quality decrease if I kept on saving them within the same file? I know if you do that to Jpg format, then the answer would be yes because of the compression.
2, This is one that I really want to know most.
When saving from a PSD to a JPG format:
- Usually when I save my PSD to JPG format, I just click on the SAVE AS and choose JPG without merging all the layers.
- Suddenly someone told me that I should merge the layers by using the Flatten Image before saving to JPG format?
The problem is, the person doesn't know why, he was told by someone else. The question is, does it make any difference or gain any benefit if one was to flatten the layers first before saving to JPG as opposed to direct SAVE AS then JPG?
Thanks.
