I found four threads about “high quality” gifs in this forum. They mentioned that 256 was the highest quality gif that you can get. I am making a gif with photos and need actual high quality. I am using ImageReady CS version 8.0 and the Edit>Preferences>Optimization... window only goes up to 128 Dithered not the 256 the other threads mentioned. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any other settings that I can use to get an actual high quality gif? I need to get high quality gifs. If I can't do it tweaking the settings in this program is there another program that I can use?

Here is a picture of my settings:

Thank you for your help.
