Saving from version 6 for editing with version 4

I need to be able to continue editing with version 4 under windows 98. When I run page capture under version 6 and save the file, I can no longer open the file under version 4 to keep editing.

Can I save to version 4 compatible files?

[page capture takes 30 minutes under 6 (propably the machine) but 6-10 hours under version 4]

Use PDF Optimizer (found under the Advanced menu). Make sure that you untick any options that you don't want (for example, if you don't untick the option it will delete any unused named destinations, which can cause problems if you have other documetns using the destinations you've created in your document). Then select Acrobat 4 from the drop-down menu at the top of the dialogue box. Click OK. Choose where to save it. Then you will have a file that can be opened and edited in version 4.
