Now that bart is on a roll answering 1001 questions..LOL..Might as well ask one more for the day. I want to be able to open up a document from "document library 1" and be able to save it straight to "document library 2" How do I come to do this? thanx :)

pay for a developer maybe?

i had that created by using office 2003 "smart pages"

but if you explain in some more detail what you want to do maybe there's an out of the box solution the community can dig up for you. just clarify some more....

Well, I have a page with all our documents on them. Now lets say u have like 2 sections, meaning, 2 wep part or 2 "document libraries". Now I want to be able to open an existing document from one document library and save it directly to another document library on the fly. All without having to download the document and then uploading it once revised to the other document library. IS this enough info? Let me know, thanx.

aha, some kind of workflow stuff

this link with information may interest you
it's by Jan Tielens a fellow belgian sharepoint tech.

click on the movie to see an example what he has made using the object model.

If you want simple workflows have it developed yourself. If you want workflow with all whistles and horns depend on third party soft.
