Saving Excel a sheet from peachtree using DDE

I was wondering if it was possible to save a customer records spreadsheet that peachtree generates by using a DDE connection. I have an excel macro that reads values from a series of spreadsheets that are generated by peachtree. Just wondering if there is an automated way to do this.
