A "newbie" question: how can I save an email attachment
I received on my BB to either my memory card or to a computer that has no Internet connection?

Thanks,
Eliezer

Just open the attachment, then hit the options key and choose to download the attachment to the device.

I have no such option; I think I selected an option somewhere to always download without prompting - maybe not - but in any case - I have no such option on my menu. It is my understanding, though, that "download" on that menu just means "let me see the attachment" - not saving it.

Thanks,
Eliezer

On my device I have the option to open attachments or save them to a micro SD card.

What kind of attachments - MS Word docs? Do you have any special apps installed that let you do that? I have the Curve - how about you?

Thanks,
Eliezer

I have a 8830 world edition. You can got a program called douments to go that will let you view word docs.

It came installed on mine (8830 non-world edition). But it only lets me browse documents stored on my SD card or in internal memory - and an MS Word doc that comes as an email attachment is on neither.
???
