Hello --

I have a script that runs daily and produces a file that is emailed out. I have been copying over the same file name before sending out, but I would like to add some designation for the date produced for the client's benefit (and my own, so I can archive the files).

Is there a way of appending a date onto a file name, such as foo_091702.txt or foo.txt.091702?

Thanks!
Brian
