I hope someone can help.
We have a citrix farm with 2 load balanced citrix servers running NT4 terminal server and metaframe 1.8. The clients connecting to the servers are on Apple macs and they access a call recording application which allows them to save calls. This is where the porblem arises. there is a system policy in place to restrict access to the server as much as possible but if i tick "hide mapped drives" (within the policy)when they go to save the call it automatically goes to the users profile on the server and saves it under desktop.
What we wanto to be able to do is that when a file is to be saved it will automatically default to the users local desktop on their mac and not allowtem save data to the servers
With drive mapping you can do this but it also shows all mapped drives on the server including the operating system and applications etc. This leaves the servers very vulnerable.
there must be a way around this? has anyone else come across this?
all help appreciated.
