Saving Data in Paradox Table need primary key ?

Hi, i use paradox table and d7 enterprise

I connect the table using odbc in network. Is that true that if i want to save record, i must have primary key on the table ?

Can i just save the record without primary key ? how ?

AFAIK, you do not need a primary key. However, a primary key is required if you have secondary indexes that need to be updated.
