saving cs2 file to open in cs 1

Sorry to be stupid but I don't have time to work it out – how do I save my CS2 .psd file so I can open it in CS?

Unless you have some feture that is wholly a CS2 thing in the image, it will open in almost any version of PSD. The only CS2 app that is dependent on backsaves is Indesign.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
 
There is an option found in the Prefs that is called "Maximize Compatibility" if you are worried and would like to take an extra step. It does make your files larger, however.
