I have a series of CS files placed in a book.
It is over a hundred of different files.

I recently upgraded to CS now EVERYTIME I open one ot the old CS files to work on and hit SAVE it automatically does a SAVE AS and takes me to an unrelated folder. HELP. This is not effecient. I can't possibly have to save as over a hundred files.

Ideas? Suggestions? Fixes? Is it something in my preferences?

Thanks!

Try using the Open command on the CS2 file menu to open the book (you might wnat to duplicate it first so you have a backup). See if you get a warniong that it has CS1 docs in it. If you get it, try Save to save the book as CS2.

Open the CS2 book and see if you have "automatic document conversion" on the flyout menu on the book window. If so, hit it. That should update your book to CS2.

You can try opening CS2 Help and search for "synchronize book" to find more on updating book documents.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Nope. I still have to save each page individual. If it would at least take me to the folder the file came from that would make it less painful... any other suggestions?
