Hi All

I am using powerbuilder6.0

I want to save a crosstab(matrix) report as an excel file without loosing the report format(ie saved excel file should look similar to the report print out).I tried the following ways without succeess

1)I used the saveas function to save the datawindow as an excel file. But the excel file doesn't make any sense when compared with the report print out.It is simply showing some figures thats all.

2)Then I used the saveasascii function to save the datawindow in the ascii format. But in this case the saved
file cntains nothing.ie the file that got saved is fully empty.

3)Then I thought ofusing the saveas function to save the datawindow as an HTML table and opening the saved html file in excel. But here I could not save the file as an html table
becuase while saving it is displaying an error saying
"PB60.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows
you will need to restart the program
An Error Log is beeing created"

So is there any workaround for this problem. If anyone knows
please help me.

I am using powerbuilder6.0

Thanks in advance
