Saving Audio Files as MP3s in Premiere 6.5 ?

Is it possible to edit/mix mp3 files in 6.5 and save the edited files as an mp3? Do you need some type of special plug-in to do this?

Is it correct the save as mp3 function is in 6.0 but not in 6.5? If I already have 6.5 installed can I install 6.0 without causing problems? Can both versions run independantly?

I don't think you can save as MP3 I could be wrong..I'm a 1.5.1 user. But from my 6.5 days I don't remember this.. Do yourself a favor and get Adobe Audition for your sound editing/mixing..
