Hi, i'm new to vba and i have created a workbook that cotains active X controls. my workbook is also set to automatically save before closing. my problem is that this workbook is run from a server where up to 6 people can access it, i have it so that only one user can have read-write permission at any one time however, if someone opens it in read only mode when they close the worbook excel tries to save it and then comes up with an error message. Is there any code i can put in that will only try and save the worbook if it is in read-write mode.

Any help would be appreciated
