Hi
I have created a form with text boxes and pull down lists and successfully saved the file as a template file (*.dot).
However when I fill the form and want to save as a document file (*.doc) the dialog box for choice of file types to save is greyed out.
How can I get this to work?

Thanx in advance

Dasi

You have to open the file through FILE-NEW, any other way assumes you are opening the template to alter it and not use it .

If you save a template in the Templates folder, the template appears on the General tab when you click New on the File menu. In Microsoft Windows 95 or 98, the Templates folder is located by default in either the C:\Windows_folder\Application Data\Microsoft folder or the C:\Windows_folder\Profiles\User_name\Application Data\Microsoft folder. In Microsoft Windows the Templates folder is located by default in the C:\Windows_folder\Profiles\User_name folder. Jay~
