Saving a subreport as .rpt

I just inherited some reports and the subreports were saved with .rpt extensions. How do you do this?

Right click the subreport, select Edit Subreport, now you can save the subreport using File->Save Subreport As (or something like that, I'm away from a Crystal machine).

How do you enable Re-import when opening field in the Format Editor, Subreport tab?

Open the main report in design view.

Right click on the sub-report

Select Format Subreport... from the drop down menu

Click on the tab marked Subreport

You can enable or disable Re-import when opening here
