Anyone,

My problem is with saving a creating record within a Subform.

The current situatuion is this:

I populate information within the main form to start with. Then on the press of a command button some of this data is used to create a record within a subform.

The problem lies in that I want to be able to do this more than once for each record on the main form. The data is tranfered perfectly fine. The problem I`m having is getting the sub-Form to save this info and start a new record for the next entry to populate.

Any help would be gratefully received

Thanks in Advance

Have you tried using the DoCmd.RunSQL command, with an INSERT statemenet? This should insert a new record each time the button is pressed. James Goodman

Will that show on the Sub form at the same time and move the focus onto a new record?

I have found a work around using sendkeys but would much prefer a more direct method. I`m sure there must be some way.

I am assuming the subform has a different table as its recordsource. If you therefore run an INSERT statement, followed by a refresh, the new data should appear in the subform. James Goodman
