Is there any way that I can save a query onto a public drive so that my boss can review it? I've just tried creating a new db, then importing the queries as tables, and finally importing the queries themselves only to find: 1) my links are not there; 2) some of the queries do not seem to recognize the tables.
(Note: this is for Access 2003 & I'm not an Access tekkie)

Are you trying to save the query or the output from the query?

I'm trying to save the actual query so that they can see my linkages.

Go to the SQL pane, select all the code and copy it to the clipboard.
You can now create a text file in the shared drive with the copied SQL code.

Hope This Helps, PH.

I do not have VBA knowledge or programs/software. Can this still be done (via Access)?

NO VBA required in my suggestion.
Where are you stuck ?

There are a number of ways to do this. If all one database, then just make a new database, import the queries, and then Import the tables and it will work.

HOWEVER, Since you have "linkages" I'm assuming you have a front-end / back-end database. What you need to do then is create the new database. Import the queries from your FRONT-end database. Then import the TABLES from your BACK-end database (not from the front-end, or else, the drive mappings or the unc path to the backend would have to be exactly the same for you and your boss, or the LINKS won't work, as you have seen) (If you import the "tables" from the front-end, and they are actually "linked" tables, then you import LINKS to the data, not the Tables themselves)
Good luck.
