How would I save a PSD File as an appropriate - and accepted - vector format for Flash? I try the EPS but it then tells me it only wants and Illustrator EPS, and so on. I need to find out which Save a Copy from Photoshop 5.5 will work in Flash (I need the vector format for the simple fact that it will be shown in various sizes).

Thanks!
Maya
I'm pretty sure you'll have to use Adobe Streamline, Corel Trace, or another similar program to convert the raster image to vector.

Save the .psd as a Bitmap.
Import the .bmp, and then use 'Trace Bitmap'.

You may have to juggle the settings to get the 'closest' results. You may also need to convert your image to a symbol once you've accomplished all of this.

Good luck. [sig][/sig]

The Trace Bitmap tool in Flash doesn't always work too well.

The best way that I would do it would be to purchase a copy, or download a copy [cracked] of PShop 6.0. It has the ability to save vectors. Or you can do what the others were saying and use Illustrator.
