I need to save my address book from MSOutlook on a cd-R because it's too big for a 1.44 floppy
But I can't find the file on my hard drive in the Windows folder. any ideas?

I assume that we're talking about your personal Contacts folder within an Oulook Personal Folders file (*.pst). If you copy the entire *.pst file (probably outlook.pst) you will be copying mail, calender & everything else. If you want just your contacts in a format that can be used by something other than Outlook, open your contacts folder, then File, Import & Export.....

Your initial premise is puzzling. How do you know that the file won’t fit on a floppy if you can’t find the file? Anyway, you have two options; a) locate and copy the hidden file ‘Outlook.PST’ (without quotes) to your CD, (after copying to your CD, be sure to uncheck ‘read only’ in its file properties) or b) from Outlook, click on File, Import/Export, Export to file, Personal Folder File (.pst), highlight Personal Folders – be sure to checkmark ‘include subfolders’ if you want everything copied, otherwise choose ‘Contacts’ and save to your CD.
