i have a report created in crystal 7.0. it connects through ODBC to a SQL database. Everytime i run the report i get a message "connection failed; SQLstate: '01S00'; connection failed, login failed for username' etc... i press ok and it asks for my sql server login name and password. when i put it in the report runs fine. my question is, is there a way to save the report so that i don't have to type it in each time. i am trying to attach the report to a call tracking tool (magic) and when it trys to run the report, it can't because it is looking for the name and password....

With ODBC, you can use a trusted connection to SQL. This means the user will just be logged without being prompted. Andrew Baines
