Someone gave me an application to fill out in pdf format.

I want to fill in the form and resave the application so I can send it back.

I can't even type in the boxes of the form.

Please help

Thanks

you need full version acrobat on a PC not MAC to create pdf forms properly and to send the info via a submit buttom. You may need to have an understanding of Acrobat Javascript (which is different that normal javscript. Hope this points you in the right direction.

To fill in fields of the form you will need to use the hand tool to select the fields - which may or may not be visible, this depends on how it has been created. If there are no fields, then it's more than likely the document's just been created in Word then pdf'd so there won't actually be anything for you to fill-in.

As far as I am aware, just to clear some things up here, you DO need a full version of Acrobat to save a form you have filled out. You DON'T need the full version to fill out forms and print a hard copy. PDFs work cross-platform, that is the whole point of them.

Are you sure it's a fillable form as opposed to one that'e first printed and then filled out?

Acorbat forms that are meant ot be filled out on screen always have a submit button.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
