I`ve noticed a flash file that I`d like to see how they made it, but I can`t save it. The file is a flash file but it seems to be coming onto the webpage as text so I can`t right click on it.

Best point you to the file, does anyone know how to save it or can point me in the direction of making it??

PS. I`m a very limited flash user at present, I only use it to make animated gifs but am in the process of learning to do fully functioning websites...

cheers

Once you've screened it, simply do a Find on your system, most probably in the Temporary Internet Files folder, with
dotcom and drag it to your desktop or whatever folder. You can then screen it, anytime.
As for importing it to analyse it, you can do it, since this file isn't protected, but it's really the .fla file (the project) you would need. You won't see the text in this .swf (when imported), and will only be able to somewhat analyse the masked or masking line technique.
