I have tried to save a flash file from a website I visited, but after going off-line, the page loads without the flash animation. Is there a way of saving so the file will play without going back online?

When you visit the site and see a Flash movie you like, wait for it to download completely. Try viewing source to find out the name of the movie as name.swf. With the name in hand, do a find file with "*.swf" of your temporary internet folder. Locate the file and drag it to your desktop or any other folder. Double-click! Voilà!
