Saving a file to a mapped network drive

We recently changed how we get to a state system so that we connect through a Citrix portal. Since then, we can not see our county level network drives through this system's "save as" screen in order to save files/reports to the network drive. The state controls the Citrix maintenance and we log in to use it (after we log in to our Novell network) when we need to read/enter info into that data system.

Is there a way we can set up a script or command that will allow the users to save to their networked drives through this system (not just to the hard drive)either at our county network level or at the citrix set up level?

Outside of this Citrix connection, our drives are fine.

We have Novell Client 4.81 & Windows 2000 Professional installed, and are using Citrix ICA Win32 Client Version 6.31.1051.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When you say the Citrix setup level, I'm assuming you mean at the state offices where the Citrix servers are located. If this is the case, then the state offices should be able to write a log on script for your users that would map the network drives. However, if you are logging in via a slow link, this would slow the process down even more.

Drive mappings are ENTIRELY controlled by the Citrix host. Gnetadmin is correct in that you would have to "convince" the state office to allow for drive mapping.

Thank you for your responses! I thought there was a way. The state techs were saying that they didn't know of one with this new set up.... Thank you again! =)
