savefs not found on network appliance

My legato server says this in the log

* netapp:/vol/vol0/home 1 retry attempted
* netapp:/vol/vol0/home nsrexec: authtype rsh
* netapp:/vol/vol0/home savefs not found. Type '?' for a list of commands

Where does the netapp client put its software?
How do I point the server or change the netapp so it finds savefs?

Release 5.3.6R2

I don't know client or server version is. What is the minimum Legato release that will work?
