Hi I have a simple bit of code that uses the SaveCopAs method which works fine when saving to a drive on my laptop, but when trying to save to a SharePoint folder I get a run time error 1004 .
Saving to SharePoint via .SaveAs works as it should.
I am trying to use the SaveCopyAs method since I need to carry on running code on my original workbook.
Has anyone got a way around this error?

Seems like there could be several things causing this problem. First, make certain you have permissions to save the file on the Sharepoint drive, just because you can read a file in Sharepoint doesn't necessarily give you permissions to write there.

Also, make certain that your server name is spelled correctly.

Hi, Sorry should have mentioned that the I am the creator and admin for the SharePoint site that I am trying the SaveCopyAs method. I've even recorded a macro of the regular ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs method and copied the URL from that macro, so the address is correct, but still the error 1004.
Thanks
