Hi.
I need to convert a txt file (11 pages or so) to convert to gif file, or any other known picture format.
I tried to use "save as" in word, and force gif format, and also tried to copy all the content into the painter.
But what I get is just the beginning of the content as a picture. The rest is missing. That's the result when I also try to copy the content to power point and save it.
I need a fast, easy and a free tool for it. And if download is not needed, and there r online sites to help doing that, I'll be more than happy.
Thanks

Why must it be in gif or picture format?
Are you attempting to link to a web site?

Have you looked into RTF format?

I copied text to the Clipboard, opened up both MS Paint and MS Photo Draw, got into "Add Text" mode, and pasted the text from the clipborad into the text box. MS Paint saves only in BMP but MS Photo Draw will save in GIF, JPG, MIX. Play around a little. I did not try a large file or save and display. You will not be able to recover back to text but maybe that is the intent.

Get the text on screen that you want and choose print screen then paste the picture into photo and save as gif.

Thanks Zelandakh,JVFriederick and JohnYingling:

1.I need more than one screen all together, so screen shot is not good enough I'm afraid.

2. I need it from kind of copyright reasons. I need ppl to read, use, save, or print it, but not edit it, etc.

JohnYingling, what's the "add text" mode? How do I reach it? how will u do it on paint? Things I tried with painter, were good only for 1 page or 1.5 page. I couldn't see more than that.

If it's not an automatic thing you are after try displaying the text in as full a screen as possible, pressing <Alt><Print Screen> and then pasting the image into any image processing package.

Then cut and paste as required.

That should do the trick.

That's what I said above. The part shown in full screen is a small part of what I need.
I tried that first thing, before openning this thread.
So I need something else, for keeping the whole 11 pages as 1 single image. "print screen" copies the "screen" only.
Thanks anyway.

In Paint, make your image area as large as possible by using the handles. Make sure View / Toolbox is checked, Now See the letter A on one of the tool buttons. That is the text tool. You draw a box to contain you text then paste the text in the box however I do not think Paint can hold 11 pages.
