Save translations and announcements to one 8meg ROM card? 3

Can translations and announcements from a TN750B board be saved to the same 8meg ROM card? What about a 4meg ROM card?

I'm using a single 8MB card. I have 1 annc board and am saving all x-lations and annc. to it. A 2nd annc board will require and additional card

I had the same issue due to lack of space for translation and announcement on 2 - 2Meg cards, but I also had one 4-Meg card. I even took the 4Meg card and use it only to store announcements. This worked for me.
If you want to save to a particular flash card you can use the following.
save announcement spe stanby/active from ann board location.

Standby or active - is the flash card location
ann board location - is the slot where ann board located.

PowerSP, thanks. If I understand you correctly, I can set our Definity switch to automatically save translations everyday to the same 8Meg Flash ROM card that I save announcements to?

You can save announcements and translations to one card depending on the size of your switch and the length of announcements. Small switches (usually 150 stations or less) and announcements, if the card is not full (use "list integrated" to show the amount of space remaining on the baord. You can only do one announcement board per card.

Like Chris says, if there is enough space for your switch config and anns. in the card, yes you can, but you can also use a separate card just for the announcements.
