Save settings on Cisco 1700 router to my notebook

Can someone pls show me the commands which will allow me to save my Cisco router's setup to my notebook using the command line interface?

Hello,
do do this you need TFTP server. As for me the best is PumpKIN - link below:
After installing, you have to run PumpKIN. Then connect to router and do the following:
en
copy running-config tftp:
Router will ask you for IP address of TFTP server
Router will ask you for name of config

afetr that you'll have runing config of your router.
I hope this'll help.
 
If you are using something like tera term you just have to use the log feature , do a sh runn and then close the log and this will save your config as a text file readable by any word processor.
 
Or, log into the router and do:

'show run'

Then highlight all of it and 'copy and paste' it to Notepad on your laptop.
