I am running NW 7.2.1, and would like to know if there is a command line utility, which will produce a report of the save set info per clinet in a particular group.

I would like th output to include Group Name, Client Name then the save set info.

I have tried various things using mminfo but dont seem to be getting anywhere.

any help is much appreciated.

It all depends on what info you want. To get the info you are asking for you can set up a mminfo report like:

mminfo -q "your query" -r group,client,name,totalsize

You can add more options to the report part (savetime, clones, ssid etc) if you like. Have a look at the mminfo man pages for more info on the query and report options.

You can of course use the mminfo query to list only hosts from a specific group:

mminfo -q "group=Default" -r group,client,name,totalsize

You might want to add savetime in your query so you don't see all backups ever made from Default group. You can restrict it for maybe the last 24 hours or so.

Try using NetWorker Management Console. it has good reporting capabilities now and should be able to generate the reporting that you want.

With NetWorker 7.3 and later, you no longer need a license to use NMC. You can download 7.3.x/7.4, then only install NMC and configure it to gather data on your 7.2.1 server
