Save report output to PDF

Hi All,
I'm using Actuate 6
I want a functionality to save the out put of a report to a PDF file directly.I.e. without using the Download option present on the Actute Report Server web page.
What I want is when the report is run, after completing the runprocess and generating the ROI, a pdf should be generated or the ROI should get converted to PDF automatically.
I'm using UNIX as a platform. Can I do it through shell script?
Or
Can I do it through Coding is actuate?
Can you guys help me on this??

use the print to file option in the requester.
what happens is while ur report is generating it will also create the pdf document.
