Wonderful Excel again!
Giving all the details hoping it will give someone a clue as to what happened, because I sure can't figure it out!
Have a workbook called Health containing lots of VBA. (the WB has about 4 charts and sheets and empty it is about 4Mb). Worked in this workbook last on Thursday. All worked great. E-mailed the workbook home to do work but logged off before realizing the workbook did not send due to mailbox over size limit. WB was sent as an attachment through outlook not through Excel File->SendTo.
Came in this a.m., Health has not been touched by anyone since Thursday. Made a copy of WB and renamed it to have today's date as a suffix. Opened this new WB. Looks good. Repeated tests to double check before delivery. Excel crashes with Dr. Watson on format statement (formatting lxedgeleft border) which which is perfectly legal.
Made a change to the code in the new WB and tried to save WB. Excel crashes again. No BeforeSave code.
Opened Thursday version of Health. Try to save, cannot save it either...Excel crashes.
I know this saved on Thursday. Did not get any Dr. Watson errors on Thursday (I log them) so I know for sure.
Crash does not occur with any other WB, only this one. So, basically, Excel did nto crash on Thursday but crashes today.
Any suggestions?
Andrea
