Save icon greyed out.

Hi there. I have a user who cannot save anything in Acrobat. The save options are all greyed out. Here are the steps I've tried so far:


Log user off - log on as Admin - same problem regardless of user
Uninstall Adobe - reinstall Adobe - no change
Uninstall Adobe - reinstall Adobe - clean registry - no difference

Generally, when any Adobe app starts behaving badly, the first thing to do is trash that app's preferences. Unfortunately, We use macs so I don't know where they're stored in Windows. Unless somebody who knows Windows comes along here, you might try going to Adobe's support site and searching "delete Acrobat preferences". Make sure the user is using Acrobat and not Reader when you search, or substitute Reader for Acrobat.
