Save for web

Using Photoshop 5.5 - mac os 9.1

When I try and save for web the system freezes when trying to optimise

Is this a memory problem?

Hi,

Have you tried re-writing the preferences file (Shift+Ctrl+Alt) make sure you press the right keys. You will have to substitute one of those keys with Command as you are using a Mac.

Also you could try re-installing the program and see if that works.

Thanks for the help - I was trying to "save for web" too big a file - when I reduced image size it worked fine.
