Hi Tek-Tips Users

I've had a quick look for tips but still need help please...

I'm using VFP6 to create reports in Excel, including charts for some of the data.

What I want to do is save each data sheet and each chart as a separate file or page that can be uploaded to a website. Ideally the user would see a list of links and click on each one to display the data or chart.

I have looked at Excel's Web Page option but this gives me the workbook with tabs like Excel.

Can anyone suggest a method for achieving this via VFP6 automation? Or where else should I be looking?

Also, when I create a chart, I would like the chart image to appear on its own, without background.

I'd appreciate any tips you can offer

Karen

When i create a simple chart in xcell, select and copy it, I can paste it into word and view it as a webpage with only the image of the chart showing in the ie window.

Hi

Thank you for your reply White605

I have had time to look further and can achieve this as follows:

1) Use the Chart Location option to place the chart on a new sheet

2) Use Save As to save the chart worksheet as an html page
