Please help. I have some vb code in MS excel that opens all the files in a directory, formats them and closes and saves them. Unfortunately, the SAVE AS dialog box keeps popping up because the file format, although the extensaion is .xls, appears to be Symbolic Link. Is there any way I can force this macro to save the file as the current type without popping up that silly save as dialog box?????????
