Good day everyone.

I have a bit of a challenge.

I'm helping a few friends sort out a bunch of fake USB and SD cards.
They bought these magic 512GB usb drives that turned out fake and I found the right software to flash there firmware back to 8 GB and now they are running perfectly.

Another friend is stuck with Fake 64GB SD cards. He got a refund but the still has the cards that work perfectly up to 8GB and then get errors,
this tells me the cards are really 8GB SD cards that are doctored to show 64GB

I am wandering does anyone know of software to edit the size the card reports, if I can turn these Fake 64GB into working 8GB that will make my day.

Thank you to everyone that can offer some help.

PS. Partitioning only 7 or so GB doesn't work sins the devices using the cards format them according to the size they report so I need to that reported size.

Thanks for the link, great place to start but the problem is the sd card reader isn't a usb device and I cant identify the sd card using ChipGenius_v4_00_0027_pre2 like I did with the usb flash drives.
I'm hoping someone knows how to get the Fake Transcend SDHC 64GB card to a working 8GB SD card.
