Save a report to a text

Hi, CR 10

The user opens the report through a windows application. I would like to save the data to a text file on the local machine as soon as the user opens the report. Please send any ideas that may help.

You could have 2 processes, one that saves to a file and one that opens the report, perhaps in that order.

A Windows application doesn't mean much in terms of what your dev environment is, but there are plenty of sample apps on the BO site:

You are right about the relationship between the application and the CR development environment.

I am looking for ideas for the processes that you mentioned. I can write code in Crystal to format the data, but how can I get that code to be triggered and saved to the C drive when the user opens the report?
