I have a netbuilder 432 that I cannot login to properly. Every time I restart it I have to reset and choose a boot.68k file and then re do my configs. Then if I change the default boot to point at the file I have booted to I cant login, the access is denied. Or I have insufficient privilages to do something. I guess my basic question in a long winded way is how can I save the config and have it remebered after I shut down and restart? Are there other config files I need to look for? How do I search? (very new to 3com, ok with Cisco)

finally worked it out! I was choosing the boot file and making changes then on reboot it could not find a boot.68k file. BECAUSE I had changed the boot option to a different folder eg a:\BOOT and making changes while in the PRIMARY folder. DOH! I was only using the boot.68k file from the boot folder to boot with into the Primary folder. Adding the boot.68k file to the PRIMARY folder works a charm! :)
