SAV Corporate 10 - clients disappear

Some of my clients have disappeared from the server console (2 out of 34 are missing). I cannot "discover" them either by name or IP from the server console. I can PING them. I can even do a client installation on them.
Both clients are WinXP Pro and I have tried disabling XP firewall. These managed clients are not updating themselves from the server

Any ideas please?

Symantec Network Drivers service had not started . Make sure that the service's startup type is set to Automatic. You can start it from Administrative Tools>Component services>Services(local) program in Control Panel

You may wish to have a look at this. I would not be surprised what this will fix in our org. Clients are for ever being lost in SSC (we have over 10k units)
