SAV CE and NAV CE on same subnet

I currently have NAV CE 7.5 on the network, I wish to install SAV CE 8.1 on another server and run it in parallel with the existing NAV CE set-up. Is this possbile, obviously the group names will be different for both set up.

Basically is this possible.

No problem whatsoever.

explains that not only can they coexist, you can manage legacy clients and secondary servers. Incremental definition updates won't work with older clients, of course.
