SAV CE 10.x 32-bit Server and 64-bit Client VDTM Update

Does anybody know if a 32-bit SAV CE 10.x Server can update 64-bit SAV CE 10.x Clients? I have two 64-bit PCs running 64-bit clients and they are configured as defined in the management console, but the virus definitions are not getting updated. As I have "Live Update" disabled on the Clients, you can imagine that this does pose a problem.
