SAV 8.1 Client Install on Windows 2000

Does anyone know how to deal with this error on a windows 2000 client?

Error: "An error has occurred that prevents this installation from continuing"

I have tried following the advice on the Symantec support site and that hasn't worked up to this point. All of the machines are ghosted from the same image and I am logged in as administrator on the windows 2k clients....just can't get past this error....

Here's the twist...I have five or six clients from the same dept that did work with on problem!?!?!?!?!?!

Any suggestions would be very helpful!

Uninstall all Norton and symantec AV clients on the machine. Reboot and then try again. I have had a similer error happen when a couple of the PCs I was installing to had personal editions of NAV installed.
