hi

i have a gig ga-7vm400am m/b amd2500 333 2 seagate 80g sata built in sata raid vt8237 i can see the drives to set them up but when installing win xp pro after pressing F6 and entering drivers it say it caused a fault which then causes windows to not see the drives can somone help me ihave checked the drives and system all is good! tryed many diferent drivers to no avail, could it be the xp disk do i need xp with sp1 built in etc thanks justin
 
Try rebuilding the Sata driver diskette! Sounds like it may be bad and XP isn't reading the file(s) from the diskette or whatever media you are using to load the SATA drivers.
