How many Devices can be daisy-chained to SATA

misguy2,

I do not stay completly current with standards.

To my knowledge, SATA requires a connection port per device and is not a daisy chain topology. One host port per device.

There is a serial attached SCSI(SAS) topology that incorporates daisy chaining and there is support for using not only SCSI devices but also SATA devices.

General answer to your question "0" devices daisy chained.
